Information we collect
We collect only what we need to make HeatSheets work for you and your swimmers.
Account information
HeatSheets uses Firebase Authentication to create and manage your account. We store the email address you sign in with and a unique account identifier.
Swimmer and meet information
If you save swimmers, events, heats, lanes, meet names, and race results in the app, we store that information so you can come back to it later.
Photos and camera access
HeatSheets uses camera and photo library access only when you choose to scan or upload a heat sheet image. Photos are processed for the purpose of extracting event details.
AI scan processing
HeatSheets uses AI processing to extract meet and event information from heat sheet images you submit. AI extraction may contain mistakes — please verify details against official meet sources.
Subscription information
Subscription status (including HeatSheets Pro) is managed through RevenueCat and the Apple App Store. We do not collect or store your payment card information.
How we use information
We use the information above to provide app features, save your meet history across devices, support your subscription, respond to support requests, and improve the product.
Data storage and security
Account and swimmer data is stored using industry-standard cloud services with reasonable safeguards. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children's privacy / family use
HeatSheets is intended for use by parents and adult family members. Swimmer profiles created by parents may include a child's name. Please do not enter information you are not comfortable storing.
Your choices
You can delete swimmers, events, and results in the app. You also have the ability to delete your account within the app from your Profile.
